Is This A Craigslist Scam? It Sounds Like It But I'm Not Sure?

Today's question is Im selling an elliptical machine for $800 on craigslist and this is a response I received. Thank you so much for your swift response,I really felt excited to transact with you and i'm satisfied with the conditions has you have stated on the Craigslist.I have a schedule already,for i need to attend an important seminar in Iowa so i wont be able to come to check it at your place.Since i am ok with the condition. I anticipate that a cashier check or personal check will be sent to you via express mail or ups as the mode of payment that will cover the amount of the item and the moving funds in which you are to take your money for the item from the check after it cleared in your bank within 2-3 days and have the rest sent to the mover via western union money transfer or money gram for the immediate pick up of the item. For your inconvenience,i will add $100 with the payment to be your running around fee.I'm always a busy person and will not like to lose this item .The information of the mover will be sent to you after the check is received and he will be at your location for the pick up with a signed note explaining that he will be assuming responsibility for the item on my behalf. Ok, what I can say about this yeah, it sounds like a scam because it is overly concerned with the money....and it sounds like one of the spam emails you get talking about millions of dollars awaiting transfer in some country in Africa.
